Blind and Prejudiced
If Mr. Darcy, from Pride and Prejudice, split Mr. Bingley and Jane Bennet up because of the distaste he had in her family, why then did he ask for the hand of Miss Elizabeth Bennet when she was in fact from the same family?

well he didn't want to marry her at first.. i guess. at that point he did have distaste for their family. then he decided he was in love and wanted to marry her and so i guess the distaste was gone. or, at least gone enough that it didn't matter. or something. let's watch that movie.
